Hi everyone, we hope you are all well! The last y Hi everyone, we hope you are all well! The last year has been very difficult for everyone, including ourselves. Whilst there has been opportunities for us to reopen, with social distancing measures and being a single-screen operator it has not been financially viable for us to open our doors just yet….. During the last year we have looked at ways of keeping our heads above water and being able to carry on showing films through 2021 and beyond (but with a more stable footing whilst offering our customers even more cinema!). We are excited to announce we are currently working on a second screen for our existing site, some big events at another secret location in Birmingham and an outdoor cinema event in July at Rowheath Pavilion, Bournville. Sorry if we have been a little slow getting back to people with the majority of the staff on furlough its been difficult to keep up with the messages at times, but we promise to return to everyone messages soon. We are ready and waiting to entertain you all for as long as we can. Hopefully we will be back soon, bigger, better and stronger than ever! Watch this space as we will be sharing some ways that you can get involved in supporting us and our second screen very soon! We also recommend that you go and see our pals at The Mac Birmingham and support other nearby indie cinemas in the Midlands. We are stronger together. See you all very soon x Mockingbird Cinema
