‘Four naan, Jeremy? That’s insane!’
Spewed forth from the minds of Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong, Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show ever so slowly built itself into a comedy juggernaut across nine quality seasons. Showing us the world from the perspective of both neurotic pedant Mark Corrigan and lazy bullshitter Jeremy Osborne, Peep Show was an often very dark comedy packed with weird flourishes and even weirder supporting characters like Johnson and Super Hans.
The Mockingbird lookback at this classic comedy with a night sure to make Mark Corrigan break out into an anxious sweat, especially since his co-worker and rival for Sophie’s affections Jeff (aka Neil Fitzmaurice) will be on hand. Expect a quiz, a classic episode and an unnerving undertone of neurosis as you start to suspect everybody else in attendance is having a better time than you.
