Birmingham-based rock band ‘passive fix’ premiere their ambitious short film, ‘a divine descent’, featuring the new singles ’i’ll take it all’ and ‘stargazing’, enveloped by swirling, ambient soundscapes and stunning visuals.
The event will also feature a screening of the band’s previously acclaimed music videos, ‘red lights’ and ‘better’, followed by a behind-the-scenes film, and a live discussion and Q&A with the band.
Limited edition merchandise will be available on the night, including clothing, CDs and special edition film-premiere posters.
‘a divine descent’ follows our protagonist’s (Alex McCarthy) descent into despair, as he battles with grief from the loss of his loved one. He begins to question his faith as he pushes away his friends and family, trying to attach blame for his loss. He journeys to the Scottish highlands in an attempt to find solace in his memories and to escape reality, but is met with violent weather, treacherous conditions and painful realities.
